Services

We don’t just build homes – we transform lives.

Today, many people lack access to safe, affordable homes. At Prima, we aim to enrich the lives of underserved individuals and families by helping to solve the affordability crisis in California and surrounding Western U.S. communities.

Affordable Housing

We provide mixed-use and affordable housing opportunities that foster vibrant neighborhoods and uplift populations in need.

Communities we serve

Low Income Families

At Prima, we are committed to the well-being of the families we serve. We provide secure homes for underserved parents and their children, while instilling a sense of engagement, connection and wellness.

Seniors

Senior citizens are among the most cost-burdened residents in the nation, often living in unsafe or overcrowded living conditions that do not meet their needs. We provide affordable housing and quality healthcare services to nurture healthy aging in our older residents.

Homeless & Veterans

Currently in the United States, there are over 550,000 people experiencing homelessness on any given night. We aim to restore hope to our homeless and veteran communities through safe, affordable housing and medical care.

Students

We believe that quality of life is key to a student’s academic success and participation. We provide safe, convenient housing that allow students to pursue their academic endeavors and enjoy their surrounding community in a secure environment.

Transitional Age Youth

Close to 70 percent of young adults that are “aged out” of foster care have no support or resources to survive on their own. We offer secure housing, supportive programs and healthcare services for at-risk youth between the ages of 16 and 24 to help transition them into adulthood.

Workforce

Workforce members, including service staff and public servants, often earn far below the nation’s average income and have difficulty maintaining a stable household. We provide modern housing in accessible areas that allow these people to live where they work.

HIV & AIDS

We aim to overcome the stigma that contributes to HIV & AIDS discrimination and economic instability. Our housing opportunities provide a stable living space for residents who are HIV positive or living with AIDS with access to medical care and disease education.

Substance Abuse

A secure, drug-free environment is essential to sobriety success for low-income individuals recovering from addiction and substance abuse. We provide these individuals with specialized housing programs that directly facilitate active recovery.

Developmentally Disabled

We strive to foster a sense of independent living for adults with intellectual or developmental disabilities. Our secure housing opportunities and supportive care programs create an inclusive living environment for those individuals.

Healthcare Services

Healthcare costs are a concern for many low-income individuals and special needs groups. We work closely with our service partners to provide accessible, specialized care for our residents and their families, ranging from substance recovery programs to supportive care for those with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
